Jay is a young boy who visits his uncle's farm and while exploring he finds an old treehouse high up in a horse chestnut tree. He soon finds the treehouse is not his but populated with birds, squirrels, and possums. As summer went on the animals and their offspring left the treehouse and now it was all his treehouse.
