Unique édition, parue posthume, du traité d'obstétrique de Nicolas Puzos, célèbre accoucheur et obstétricien du XVIIIe siècle et le premier à avoir été chargé de faire des cours d'accouchements pour les sages-femmes dans les écoles de chirurgie en France. Cette publication posthume fut donnée par Morisot-Deslandes. Elle contient un traité général d'accouchement, un traité sur les maladies de l'utérus, un traité de pédiatrie sur les maladies du premier âge, un mémoire sur les pertes de sang chez la femme lors de la grossesse et trois autres sur les dépôts laiteux. Ces écrits de Puzos sont complétées par une longue dissertation-préface de l'éditeur et de la traduction française d'une dissertation de Crantz sur la rupture de la matrice. Intérieur propre.
