Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Good +; bumping to head, tail, and tips; shelfwear to board bottom edges; rubbing to spine and boards. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. Clean internals. Inner hinges are sound and not split. 311 pp 8vo. Sebastian Barnack, a handsome English schoolboy, goes to Italy for the summer, and there his real education begins. His teachers are two quite different men: Bruno Rontini, the saintly bookseller, who teaches him about things spiritual; and Uncle Eustace, who introduces him to life's profane pleasures. A clean very presentable copy.
