The saga of literary creation, helpful to aspiring and established writers, as well as readers who want to understand the minds of great authors. Short (93 pages), but packed with wisdom and zest for life. Thomas Wolfe (1900-1938) sheds considerable light on his working relationship with legendary editor Maxwell Perkins, necessary in order to bring coherence and some degree of economy to the voluminous pages of unruly manuscript Wolfe produced in his short life. He died of TB at age 38. This book is in fine condition. The dust jacket is in very good-minus condition, with a soft crease on the front cover and a stain mark on the rear cover.
