Firmly bound, embossed green cloth boards with label on the front end paper. Bright gilt title on the spine. A photograph of Longfellow is stuck on a front end paper page. Marks on the last couple of pages. Tears, wear, creases and dust spotting on jacket which is in poor condition with some paper loss.

A fine example of an early 20th Century Prize binding.
