Original publisher's blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. xviii [ix-x] 234 pages, 8 page publisher's catalogue. Illustrated with numerous figures, photos and maps on plates, plus a folding map. 6 X 8.75 inches.The corners are bent inwards, and the front board top corner is rather stubbed, with some creasing to the corners of the pages. There are a few fade marks to the front board, and a previous owner's name, place and date on the front free endpaper.
