Some marking and scuffing to binding but reasonably clean. Tear along length of outer rear hinge, a little tearing to front outer hinge but spine still attached there, with a little tearing at head and tail of spine also and some creasing. Other signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, bumped and slightly torn corners. Book has a forward tilt. Binding slack but contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and marked. Some minor foxing to pastedowns and endpapers, occasional foxing throughout. Red lettering to front free endpaper - uncertain of this was printed or if it was stenciled by a previous owner. Some other marking and grub to page surfaces here and there, the odd tear but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. 293 pp. n.
