Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Gustaf Tenngren (illustrator). 1st Edition. Rare first edition of a Giant Golden Book, 10 by 13 inches. Cover is chipped at corners, but in amazing condition for being 75 years old. Inside clean, unmarked, undamaged and lightly tanned. 96 Pages. A true piece of Americana. I am including at no charge Farm Stories, another first edition Giant Golden Book by the same authors and illustrator. It was published by Simon and Schuster in 1946. It shows more signs of wear and tear than Cowboys and Indians; but the pages have full color illustrations and are intact, unmarked, and not torn.
