"This small book .record(s) what Robert Newstead did as a taxidermist before his academic career propelled him to other areas (and) preserve(s) a small record of (his) efforts to create what was once a notable and much appreciated civic facility." A brief bibliography is included, as well as a list of papers by Newstead. .
