Signed by actress Dolores Fuller, best known for her roles in director Ed Woods low-budget cult classics Glen or Glenda (1953) and Jail Bait (1954), The Body Beautiful (1953), and Bride of the Monster (1955) with Bella Lugosi. Near fine copy with a hint of handling in a slightly dust soiled price-clipped dust jacket with a few tiny tears. Dolores Fuller (1923 - 2011) is also known for having been the girlfriend of Ed Wood and was portrayed in Tim BurtonÕs film Ed Wood by Sarah Jessica Parker and for having written a number of songs which were recorded by Elvis Presley for his films, including Rock-A-Hula Baby from Blue Hawaii (1961), I Got Lucky from Kid Galahad (1962), Do the Clam from Girl Happy (1965), and IÕll Take Love from Easy Come, Easy Go (1967).

    Condition: Good. First Edition. First edition, first printing. Signed by Kahlil Gibran on the title page. Bound in publisher's black cloth decorated in gilt; lacking the dust jacket. Good. Cloth scuffed, soiled and worn through at tips. Pages toned and with faint evidence of erased pencil brackets in margins, small vintage bookseller ticket from Brentano's to rear pastedown. The first printing consisted of 2,000 copies and signed copies are extremely scarce.
