No other markings, no tears, dog-ears or defects in the very clean 164pp text profusely illustrated in b/w full page plates & smaller vignettes by Charles Simpson. Original, un-clipped illustrated dust wrapper shows some handling soil and a 1.5" coffee splash on rear cover, is complete and displays well in new mylar. A useful book written as one rider instructing a beginner whilst both are astride. A novice is taken in hand by a knowledgeable friend, and in conversations between them, mostly in the saddle, the instructor covers very fully and concisely just what a beginner needs to know about jumping cross country.
