Marked shelf and handling wear to dust jacket, including tanning, creasing, nicks and chips, a number of small closed tears noted (repaired), and single open tear at DJ spine head. Yellow cloth boards have embossed image to front board, book details to spine. Light wear overall, including tanning to spine head, light wear to edges, cocked spine. Pageblock tanned, light tanning and foxing to endpapers and final page, with an occasional spot within. Pages are firmly bound with the beautifully detailed illustrations by Osbert Lancaster punctuating the commentary. CN.
