Condition: Good. 1939. Second Edition. 319 pages. Illustrated jacket over cloth. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Almost torn in two at the spine.

They spent the winter of in northern Greenland, and then split into three groups to explore further, one group discovering a new mountain range.
