Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Blue band to bottom Chicken Soup dust jacket spine with no price label to slipcase. 2 5/8 x 3 3/4 Books; bindings tight, Mauve boards straight and clean; texts appear barely read with no to minor soiling. Mild rubbing to mostly slipcase corners. Dust jacket spines have mild to moderate chipping with small paper loss to Alligator and Pierre ends. Color sharp to covers. Under archival quality mylar cover. Photos upon request. Packed well and shipped in a sturdy box.

Cloth. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. Maurice Sendak (illustrator). Four tiny volumes (3 3/4 by 2 5/8 inches) in slip case. Titles: One was Johnny; Pierre; Chicken Soup with Rice; Alligators All Around. Each is fine, in mauve boards decorated in brown. Dust jackets lightly sunned at spines, with 1/8 inch tear to end of One Was Johnny. Slipcase has a tiny bit of rubbing at corners. The yellowish stripe at the foot of jacket of Chicken Soup with Rice indicates first printing. All in all a near fine to fine set.
