Charles William Slemming (1903-1974) was the author of several books on the typological significance of Old Testament passages. He served as a pastor for 11 years in Bangor, Reading, Hove, Thornton Heath, and Upminster, but from 1946 worked for the Bible Testimony Fellowship, of which he became director in 1959. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Ring stain on front.
