Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. Illustrated by Various (illustrator). First Edition; First Printing. Some edge and shelf wear with corners bumped and rubbed, sunned spine, ink stamp to front endpaper, paper slightly age toned. ; First printing of assumed hardback edition for 1935. Pictorial front board, grey rear board with faded red cloth spine. Nice tight copy with Presentation Plate for Kent Road Methodist Sunday School to front endpaper awarded to S Caudwell for attendance dated 27th December 1935. Cover artwork uncredited. Heavy, large format book and priced accordingly. ; B&W Illustrations; 144 pages; Collection of seventeen short stories by various authors including Margaret Turvey, P M Frost, Samuel Jeans and May Sullivan.
