Book in very good condition with slight rubbing to head and tail of spine. Rubbing to corners and edges of D/J with chipping to head and tail of spine and small amount of loss. Inch long closed tear to top edge of front D/J. Small amount of loss to top edge of rear D/J. Small closed tear to bottom edge of rear D/J.

Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Hayman, Patrick (illustrator). First Edition. Dedication by author on front free endpaper - 'To RD from HW.' Boards clean and unmarked with slight fading to the edges. Trace of a pencilled price to front free endpaper but pages otherwise clean and unmarked. Jacket has a half inch closed tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel, light chipping to the top and bottom of the spine and the corners, light edge creasing, a little surface marking to the rear panel and a faint cup ring mark to the front panel.
