Ffep, half title, title xii, 13 565, blank, 32 pages of advertisements. Thomas Dent Mutter (1811 1859) donated a massive collection of medical specimens to the College of Physicians of Philadelphia with stipulations for a curator and building to be established and maintained. The original building for the now-famous Mutter Museum was finished in 1863. It still draws visitors from around the world to this day.
