Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Edition not known. In good, bright bevel edged cloth boards, gilt titles to back strip. The covers are firm, square and unmarked; corners and spine cloth ends bumped and frayed.Clean dark brown end papers; two vertical creases to front free end paper. Top cut edge tinted black; fore and tail edges very tanned. The text block is in very good conditon, especially for age, tightly bound and straight, with light foxing to Preface, prelims and a few text pages. With 15 b/w plates by the author in block at rear. No inscriptions etc.
