The deckled fore edges are generally fine, but an aborted attempt to separate the leaf containing page xi from the leaf with the Table of Contents resulted in a fore-edge margin tear and the completed separation of the leaf with the illustration list from the leaf with pre-text fly title resulted in a jagged / chipped margin edge. Remaining contents ([xvi] + 263 pp.) are clean and firmly bound. NOT an ex-library copy!
