Volume 1 "Manor and Borough to 1865" (Gill), i-xiii, 454 pp, 57 plates, 3 maps and plans in the rear pocket. Volume 2 "Borough and City" (Briggs), i-xi, 384 pp, 48 plates, plan in the rear pocket. Blue buckram, previous owner's neat blind stamp on each half title page, some spotting to the closed edges. Both dust wrappers are protected and the wrapper of Volume 2 has a neat repair but a good set.
