Condition: Good. 1952. No Edition Stated. 384 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Vol.2. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Slight forward lean to text block.

Books smartly bound in blue cloth with gilt title on spines and gilt emblems, front and back. No inscriptions, markings or book plates. Hinges tight, pages smooth and clean. Pocket at back of each volume to hold total of 4 fold-out maps, each appears unopened. With photographic plates and illustrations. A very good, handsome set.
