Hardcover. Condition: Good. 25th edition. Large octavo, 1614 pages. This copy belonged to the Dowager Lady Noble who died 25 May. 1962 aged 90. Lady Noble was the widow of Sir saxton Noble, 3rd Bt. (1863 - 1942), and the granddaughter of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, her father Arthur James having married Brunel's daughter, Florence. Her bookplate is on the front free endpaper. The spine is damaged (please see photographs), fore-edges foxed and pages browned with age. It is a very heavy book and overseas shipping will be more than the default shipping price quoted on ABE.
