8vo. pp 43. Original publisher's blue cloth over snake skin style paper boards, lettered gilt on spine. From the Gary E Prouk collection of Fortune Press books. In D'Arch Smith (R.A. Caton & The Fortune Press). No date, [1948]. Vernon Scannell's first work. About fine in clean, very good plus dust wrapper, with some tanning at spine and slight surface wear. Decent copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Hardback. A near very good copy in dark green paper-covered boards with light blue- green cloth spine lettered in gilt. In a good dustwrapper which shows some darkening and rubbing to the spine. Author's inscribed presentation copy - "For Bill and Joyce Jones. Two very nice people. Vernon Scannell. Oct. 1948." Some foxing to end-papers and a few spotrs of edge foxing. 44 pages. The author's first book. Signed by Author(s).
