No date on title page, copyright page dated 1934. Stated 22nd Impression. 41 pages. Book and DJ are in good condition. A bit of wear along the edges of the cover, with boards peeking through split cloth just slightly at corners. A few light spots staining back cover. Stamping on front cover is crisp and unfaded. Binding is strong. Majority of pages are undamaged. Bottom corner of one page is torn off. Some pages have the occasional light spot from age. The final page of text reads "These next pages have mistakes I make and the pictures are drawn by ME." On this page and the next few blank pages are a child's drawings in thick black marker, which bleed through to the pages on either side. DJ is slightly dingy and discolored, with some tearing along the edges. Lettering and illustration remain deeply colored and vibrant. DJ is now protected in clear mylar sleeve. Vintage children's book is overall charming and well-preserved. Features simple black and red illustrations throughout.
