Kearney, with his small name sticker at the bottom of the verso of the front cover. Printed wraps. light fadings and wear to the wraps; the staples at some point have been removed. Overall a Very Good copy.

Stapled light violet wraps lettered in green. Quarto (7-7/16" x 10"). Illustrated with a caricature of a naked man on the title page. Limitation somewhere between 250 and 400 copies. Apparently these light violet covers were used on the first copies before being replaced by bright green covers. Slight rust marks from staples. About Fine.

A Gobble Poem was first printed in pirated form in 1965 as the Platonic Blow, by Ed Sanders' underground press, Fuck You. A sexually explicit homoerotic poem allegedly written by Auden, it was never officially published or accepted into the Auden canon. Stapled lavender card with green titles.
