First Edition. 207pp, index, illus, Gnys was a fighter pilot in the RAF in the Battle of Britain with 302 Polish Squadron and later commanded 317 squadron. Originally with the Polish Air Force he shot down the first German aircraft of WWII. Book and jacket are in very good condition with no marks, annotations or inscriptions. Underside edge of jacket protected with clear tape.
