Determinations of the Honourable House of Commons, concerning elections, and all their incidents. As the issuing of the writ, the taking of the poll, the scrutiny, the return, the qualifications of the electors and elected, oaths to be taken, rights of election in the several cities and boroughs, evidence proper of hearing, disqualification by offices, bribery, treating, riots. The whole digested under proper titles, and interspersed with abstracts of Acts of Parliament on the subject; also two tables, (viz) one of Statutes used in the work; the other of the principal matters.

xx, 274 pp, 60 page addenda, 11[1] pp index with errata leaf to final page verso. Contemporary full speckled calf, maroon calf gilt spine label, raised bands, decorative gilt compartments, double ruled gilt border to sides, speckled leaf edges, bookplate to front paste down endpaper. 17 cm x 10.5 cm. Repair to front joint, minor loss to spine tips, rear joint cracked but holding firm, rubbing to extremes with slight loss to corners, lacks two leaves after the title page most probably the contents section, random foxing within the text.
