Modest rubbing at the corners and spine ends and a tiny bit of tanning on the front endleaves, near fine in a sunned, very good dust jacket with some edge nicking and a pinhole near the crown. Signed by Grahame on the front fly. Second book of poems by the Minnesota native but longtime New England resident; at the time of writing she was head of the English department at the MacDuffie School for Girls in Massachusetts. According to the jacket, Grahame's poems have appeared in *Poetry* and *The Saturday Review*, and her first book was praised by no less than Mari Sandoz, Léonie Adams, *The Christian Science Monitor*, and Marianne Moore.
