Green cloth binding, gilt lettering, 270 pages, the book is in good condition with some light browning throughout, some moderate staining to the cloth edges and the name of a previous owner (the eminent Oxford Hertford fellow and revered academic Anthony Cockshut) written in pencil to the front free end paper. The price-clipped, cult yellow Hogarth dust jacket is very good with some light general staining to the covers and tanning to the spine. A cracking offering.
