The book is brand new and is nearly pristine: it is square, spotlessly clean, free of edge dings with the lower front corner having a small bump; head and heel of spine undamaged; hinges are very tight and not damaged in any fashion. The interior is completely free of writing (except for author's signature and year), stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Paper is very flexible. No distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving; pages are tight and clean with no marks. Jacket is also brand new and is pristine: it is perfectly clean; no tears, folds or fading; no bumps on corners or edges; there is no publisher's price on the jacket or in the book. Condition of book and jacket consistent with being brand new and not read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book or jacket such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance.
