This work is comprised of a collection of essays surrounding the topic of Middlesex and its history. William Andrews included a preface to this work, explaining his aim to present the rich history of the area, along with the help of other writers. Thomas Frost provides a depiction of Historic Middlesex, while the Rev George Tyack details Hampton Court Palace. With a frontispiece of The March to Finchley, and many other illustrations throughout. With historical newspaper articles relating to Middlesex included, taped in to the front of the work.There are seven separate pieces, dated 1926 to 1932. Ink inscription to the first blank.Advertisements for the Bygone Series to the rear of the work. In original publisher's blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor shelf wear.
