Condition: Good. 1959. No Edition Remarks. 167 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth. Contains black and white illustrations. Pages and illustrations are lightly tanned throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Clipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Staining to rear panel.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. Clean and firmly bound green cloth boards, no writing inside but very small and faint ink date stamp on the front free end paper, some marks and dust spotting on the closed page edges. The jacket is between poor and fair categories, it is not price-clipped but has some tears, chipping and creases with a little loss from the corners and the top and base of the spine.

Tightly bound to inner page block. - A few illustrations accompany the story. Front and rear blank end pages are adhered to inner boards, this was often done to strengthen the page block.
