Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. ++++ SIGNED ++++ on a b&w publicity photo, tipped onto the ffep. Comes with a copy of a letter from Norma Farnes (his long term Manager) to authenticate, ".I am enclosing the .photograph you requested." A hard-to-find early book by the Maestro; plenty of silly line drawings and poems, primarily for children, but much like so much of Milligan's supposedly kids stuff, loved by adults too. Wonderful purple wraparound wrapper featuring an elephant, rubbed. Navy blue cloth boards with gold titles to the spine. Price clipped and repriced by the publisher, no inscriptions. Signed by Author(s).

First edition, SIGNED ASSOCIATION COPY. 8vo. 88pp. Fine in publisher's gilt titled blue cloth. Clad in a vibrant, elephant adorned purple dustwrapper showing only the slightest hint of wear, it's all very unfaded and lovely. To top it all off, it's inscribed by Mr.Milligan to the children of the redoubtable Mr.Frank Muir, mainstay of easy listening television for what seems like centuries and a creation only Britain could spawn: "To / Sally, and if needs / be Jamie./ From / Spike.".
