Bound in emerald green, with gilt illustration to front cover and gilt lettering to spine. Spine is very slightly rubbed, with upper and lower spine bumped, but cover is generally in rather good condition. Intricate bookplate and matching signature facing it on front endpaper, dated 1923. Illustration on page 1 has been coloured in with coloured pencils by a child, but the effect is not displeasing. Tight book block; uncut edges have browned, but the text is clean and clear.
