The binding is still tight and pages are secure. Heavy shelf and use wear to the dust jacket. Several chips, tears and missing pieces. A majority of the back cover has been torn off, but the piece is still included with the book. The front and back of the dust jacket are no longer connected. The book is in excellent condition with a tight,straight binding and a light beige cover with slight wear to the bottom corners and a gilt copy of the author's signature. The book measures 11" x 9" and will be carefully wrapped and boxed for safe shipping.

This copy is a first printing of the 1954 Bodley Head edition in excellent condition with no dustjacket, with a tight, straight binding and slight wear to the cover edges. The cover is dark blue with a copy of the authors signature on the lower right corner. The book will be carefully wrapped and boxed for safe shipping.

Fair. Sunned spine, board wear, hinging loose, foxing, owner sticker and a musty smell. Mostly vintage b/w female nudes.
