Paperback. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. No publication details. From the first page "The film of Animal Farm was so popular that many regional newspapers ran it as a strip cartoon serial. This shows the complete serial." Then at the foot of the same page "*The strip version attracted many readers. Compare the cartoon version with the book. Is anything lost?". Harold Whitaker (one of the film?s lead animators) produced the comic-strip version which was published in British newspapers to coincide with, and promote, the release of the film in 1954. Paperback in landscape format. Grey covers with titles on black on front. 52 strips, two to a page. In good condition. Just minor soiling to the covers and a touch of foxing to contents. Nice copy.
