Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The scarce first edition, first issue showing the correct decorated front & rear endpapers, Undated C. 1910, Original publishers box, Original decorated boards & cloth spine, 12 x full page colour plates + numerous black & white illustrations, Box is worn with some loss to sides, Boards are marked & rubbed to edges, Corners bumped, Slight play to front hinge, Inscription to half title dated 1917, Small ink stamp to bottom of Fep, Endpapers lightly browned, Occasional light foxing or minor blemish to pages, One text page with small tear to inner margin, Very occasional crease or minor separation at inner margins. Overall a number of faults but still a good acceptable copy of a rare first edition. Overseas orders may require extra postage costs.
