A collection detailed lessons from scripture for the use of schools and families. With learning from Genesis, Joshua, Ruth, Samuel, Kings, and many other books of the Old Testament. Written by Sarah Trimmer, a British writer and critic of eighteenth-century children's literature, as well as an educational reformer. In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine and board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot. Very Good. book.
