Five of the eight contributing photographers (Tim Page, David Dare Parker, Ben Bohane, Stephen Dupont, and Michael Coyne) have signed and dated (2010-11) their portraits at the beginning of their individual sections (Jack Picone and Ashley Gilbertson have not signed the book). The eighth photographer, Sean Flynn, 'disappeared on 6 April 1970 near Chi Pou in eastern Cambodia. Flynn had been travelling with fellow photojournalist, Dana Stone. It is likely they were captured . possibly by the murderous Cambodian Khmer Rouge guerrillas'. Tim Page has inscribed and signed the page containing Flynn's portrait ('for my mate Sean Flynn . 25/6/2011'). He has also written the following on the half-title: 'for Joyce | a sister superior in arms | a constant snapper of delight | shades of bigger things | with love peace | regards | Tim Page . [2013]'. The recipient was the Melbourne photographer and pioneering gallerist Joyce Evans OAM (1929-2019).
