Bound offprint from the New York State Forest Commission Report for 1894 which was also published in 1895 with short preface by Fox. 10 full page photographic plates. 2 Color illustrations. One foldout diagram of rings on 115 year old tree. A bit of rubbing on the spine and the heavy card paper on some of the prints is testing the quality of the binding. Very nice copy of this rare publication about an important forest species in northeastern North America.
