Book is tight and bright; the only marking is on a blank page for recipes.There is light foxing and acid stains both on the fep and rep and inside covers. The interior pages are quite clean for a book of 100 years The grey cloth cover has wear /rubbings at the spine ends and bottom corner on the front cover and a soiled appearance. Located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, High Point is home to the Springfield Friends Meeting, an historic Quaker meeting that dates to 1773. Includes numerous local advertisements, as well as a tipped-in color piece with recipes for Swans Down Cake Flour. Small octavo: 128 pp. Original cloth binding, with black-stamped titles, decorations, and borders. Period ink gift inscription to the front pastedown. Mild foxing to the top edge. Light wear to the corners and tips, with a bit of negligible toning and soiling; otherwise very good.
