Tight hardcover book in very good condition with original dustjacket in good condition. 8vo. 482pp. plus 23-page index at the back of the book. Black cloth boards & backstrip with incised eagle logo in the center of the front board, incised Borzoi Books logo on the bottom right corner of the backboard, and bright gold lettering & designs on the backstrip. The frontispiece has a color portrait of Shelley by Edward Ellerker Williams that is printed on coated stock. The tops of the pages are dyed burgundy. Book is very tight. The boards have a little wear & edgewear. The top of the backstrip has a 1/8" split - otherwise, the backstrip has a little edgewear. The gold lettering & designs are very bright. Inscription on the ffep. The endpapers are lightly discolored. The leaves are in very good condition with no markings or other damage. The lettering & designs on the gray dustjacket are very bright. The top corner of the front flap has been clipped - the other 3 are not clipped. The dustacket has edgewear with a 3/4" closed tear where the backstrip meets the back board, a 1/8" closed tear in the middle of the backstrip, and a 1/8" closed tear along the bottom edge. The front of the dustjacket has a 1/4" spot of soiling close to the backflap hinge as well as well as a little light soiling. The inside of the dustjacket is lightly discolored.
