Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the front board. Presentation page is filled out to a soldier by the author. Frontispiece photo with tissue guard of MAJ Hart. 111 pp 8vo. This book was written by MAJ Hart's father and it covers his childhood, school years, time at Kansas State, his ROTC, and his joining the Army when WWII broke out. He was married in 1942 and in February 1943 he was killed in an airplane accident while on a mission for the War Intelligence Division in Washington, DC where he was assigned. This book is a glowing tribute to a departed son. A clean very presentable copy.
