Publisher's original illustrated boards with titles in white and yellow to the upper board and in white to the spine, in the Jaime Bishop illustrated dustwrapper and navy cloth solander box. Textured endpapers. Black satin bookmark. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with just a touch of rubbing to the head of the spine. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions and stamps. Complete with the fine dustwrapper, which is without fading, loss, or tears. Not price-clipped (£50.00 to the lower rear panel). Housed in the fine, structurally sound solander box. Issued in an edition of 200 copies, from which this example is numbered 78 and signed by the authors Paul DiFilippo, Jessica Reisman, Barry N. Malzberg, Jack Slay Jr., Howard Waldrop, A. M. Dellamonica, Robert Silverberg, Carol Emshwiller, Lisa Tuttle, John Kessel, Jeff VanderMeer, and the editors Michael Bishop and Steven Utley, in black and blue ink on the limitation page. A collection of 16 science fiction and horror short works, including the 2002 Locus Award-nominated novelette 'Neutrino Drag' by Paul Di Filippo and the 2018 Retro Hugo Award-nominated short story 'Mimic' by Donald A.
