Decorative boards with, what I am assuming is, an error at the publisher when the UV coating the boards was applied. I have seen multiple copies with and many without this flaw. In my estimation it is not distracting, and at first glance I wondered if intentional. Preface suggests that this volume is roughly half of Parker's wririting outside of her reviews. 233 pages.
