I choose the rate books Near Fine (What in life is perfect?). You can see the covers in the photos. There isn't any soiling. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. There is one thin wrinkle just off the bottom edge of the spine. The edges and corners are in excellent shape. The page edges are 'perfectly' clean. The middle page edge is deckled or rough-cut. They did a very good job. The interior of the book is in terrific shape. I'm not seeing any soiling at all. That includes the white inside covers and end papers. I'm not seeing any conspicuous creasing, no turned-down corners or placeholder creases. There are no markings. No attachments. And the author's signed inscription is the only writing to be found anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It is very clean. There are no tears. There's a slight decrease just off the top edge of the front. The middle edges of her in very good shape. The flaps are in very good shape, very clean as well. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned.
