Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Robert Hale in 1970 AND SIGNED & INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO HER FORMER TEACHER, MISS POTTER. The jacket is Very Good / Very Good Plus: it is unclipped and states 18/- net (90p). It is intact but has rubbing to the corners and spine ends. It is still attractive overall. The book is Near Fine: it has a nice straight spine and sharp corners and only light softening to the spine ends you can ONLY see if you remove the jacket. The copyright page confirms the first publication in 1970. Signed copies of Selman Taylor's books rarely crop up and this is a wonderful example. Signed by Author(s).
