Presentation copy inscribed by Erich Mendelsohn on the front free endpaper, "To Alexander and Cally Cochran, Erich Mendelsohn, [VII ?] 53", and with the recipients' bookplate on the front pastedown. Alexander Cochran was an American architect, who founded the firm Cochran, Stephenson and Donkervo…et. This monograph, to which Mendelsohn contributed, was published for the Facoltà d'Architettura del Politenico in Milan. Octavo. Numerous black and white illustrations. Original tan cloth-backed tan paper boards, titles to front board in black. Tiny bump to fore edge of front board. Contents faintly toned. An excellent copy.
