First Edition
Hardcover. First Edition. 6 x 9.5in. xx. 591pp. 2 engraved maps. Though the text makes mention of 3 maps, both Howes and Sabin call for 2 maps as found here. Bound in recent full leather. Spine with 4 raised bands and title label in gilt. VERY GOOD. Shows the early and late text-block with some toning, handling and foxing, much lesser through the greater portion, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
